Natalie's love for play and performance began during elementary school. She attended an arts school where the curriculum was surrounded by art, music, dance and acting. She began to do theatre in middle school and continued on through high school. She is a classicaly trained singer and competed throughout high school while also performing in the schools musicals and Madrigal Choir.
She attended Wayne State University's conservatory style Theatre program where she received her B.A. in Theatre Arts. It was there that she developed her love for writing and produced her own work with the student run theatre collective. After college she moved to Chicago and jumped into the theatre scene doing dozens of plays, and even starting her own theatre company called Naked Theatre with her fellow Wayne State Theatre grads. Their first show, See You in the Mourning, received favorable reviews and sold out audiences.
While in Chicago, she interned at Chicago Dramatists and had the opportunity to help workshop plays with some of the top young writing voices of todays TV and theatre. She also studied Meisner and Scene Study at BlackBox Acting Studio with Audrey Francis (Steppenwolf Theatre Company).
She moved to Los Angeles shortly after, right away working on several films on the SyFy network and roles in the indie film world.
Her love of studying the craft continues. You can find her taking improv classes at UCB, in her ongoing acting class at BGB Studios, and creating her own work by writing and producing material for herself.
She is also a yoga teacher, a daughter, a friend, an aunt, a sister, and a lover of food, naps and hikes.
